Body and Tissue Donation

  • Your body can be donated for scientific research, medical training or "recycling" into another human being.
  • Whatever is left over will be cremated and returned to your family.
  • In most cases there is no cost to you, but some organizations may have a fee.

DFW area sources for whole body donation:

  • University of North Texas Health Science Center
  • University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center
  • Baylor College of Dentistry
  • Parker University - Chiropractors
  • Forensic Anthropology Research Facility ( Body Farm) at Texas State University in San Marcos.
    • Will do body pickup in the DFW area. Contact them for more details.
